In her “Nature” series, Petra Kost explores the beauty, power, and simultaneous fragility of nature. Structures of the elements fire, water, earth, and air, as well as of flora and fauna, are given space in dense, often contradictory visual compositions. It is all about fields of tension here as well: wonder and concern, closeness and alienation.
