Nature

In her “Nature” series, Petra Kost explores the beauty, power, and simultaneous fragility of nature. Structures of the elements fire, water, earth, and air, as well as of flora and fauna, are given space in dense, often contradictory visual compositions. It is all about fields of tension here as well: wonder and concern, closeness and alienation. Petra Kost’s works open perspectives on the ambivalent relationship between humans and nature – as a mirror of our collective responsibility and an invitation to rediscover our bond to the world.
